Most Lasers can be quite dangerous and should not be applied around the eyes. the LL Plasma Laser device is designed to produce Cold Plasma from Low-Level Laser light that is harmless and even designed not to cause any harm if applied directly to the most delicate part of the skin.

Plasma energy is produced at the output of low-level laser light and it is active ionized Plasma enters the skin and tissue where the beneficial action has been found to penetrate 15 to 20 mm.

Care of The LL Plasma Laser

Being Low Power the LL Plasma Laser should be applied for a length of time to get the required laser energy to produce results. The manufacturer’s recommendation is to give the laser a rest every two minutes to avoid overheating. Since treatments may take longer than that, one alternative LL Plasma Laser can be used, switching lasers every two minutes. Long time use of a single laser will shorten its usable life. If used for longer than 2 minutes, heat will be developed inside the laser, where a warm laser will become delicate and can be damaged by a slight impact or vibration.

Li-ion Rechargeable Batteries

In order to obtain  the best performance, the LL Plasma Laser uses the high capacity rechargeable Li-ion 18650 Battery.  Beware of many fake Li-ion 18650 Batteries claiming high capacity as in fact most were fake of very poor low capacity. Unfortunately the only Li-ion 18650 Batteries of honest good capacity and performance we found to be the Japanese Panasonic-NCR Batteries which we recommend.

 Li-ion Rechargeable Batteries need to be purchased locally, at local stores such as Walmart, Amazon or eBay etc., as Li-ion Batteries can not travel with the LL Plasma Laser.  Together with the batteries, it is advisable to purchase a good Battery Charger that indicates the charge level such as 25%, 50%, 75% or 100%.

The positive end of the Li-Ion Battery should be mounted towards the safety keys at the back and should be removed if the laser is not in use for some time.   The safety switch at the back of the laser should be turned off to prevent accidentally turning on the laser, and prevent children from playing with it.

Protective cover

In order to avoid cross-contamination and to protect the laser units, please cover the front end with thin clear plastic. A thin food handling clear plastic glove can be used by cutting one fingertip to be used as a protective cover. You can pre-cut the plastic of one finger and insert the laser into it and rip the rest by pushing the laser the last bit.

The sterile clear plastic cover is used for protection. The clear disposable cover must be used most of the time and replaced frequently when using the LL Plasma Laser on open wounds or after surgery. Many surgeons finish the surgery by spraying a clear plastic layer that seals the wound and is ideal for the application of cold plasma laser to help speed up healing and prevent inflammation and contamination. The sterilizing effect of the Cold LL Plasma Laser is an ideal tool for postoperative care.

Laser Dosage.

The LL Plasma Laser can be applied directly to and touching the skin except if there are open or wet wounds, where clear wrap plastic can be used as the cold plasma will fully sterilize it as well as the wound. If applied on a fixed point, 10 to 12 minutes is the maximum recommended and up to 3 or 4 times a week, allowing time in between for the body to do its part. Always apply each LL Plasma Laser for a maximum of two minutes and allow it to cool down for another two minutes to prevent overheating of the Laser diode. Two LL Plasma Lasers are usually supplied and can be alternated every two minutes.

Experience, now corroborated by a couple of German researchers, shows that the application of Cold Plasma seems to help to cure well-established infections in a very effective and permanent way.
